Driveway FAQ
Q.What Is a Resin Driveway?
Resin is a flexible surfacing material that can be laid onto any surface. The resin is mixed with a selected aggregate and then poured onto the surface and evened out with a trowel to the desired thickness.
Q.Why Choose a Resin Driveway?
Firstly, they are absolutely stunning. Traditional concrete driveways are a lot of things, but beautiful isn’t one of them. We work with our customers to choose a colour scheme that suits them and therefore make their property look more aesthetically pleasing and increase the property value.
Another reason to choose a resin driveway is that they are simple to install. Concrete driveways can take a few days to install unlike our resin systems which can be installed in as little as a few hours, depending on the area size (how good is that!)
Q.How Much Does a Resin Driveway Cost?
Without having the measurements and examining the existing driveway, it’s impossible to give a price.
However, we do offer free quotations which include a short visit to your property and a formal quote sent out to you.
Q.Can I Lay a Resin Driveway Myself?
We do encourage you to use trained resin installers, however if you are experienced enough in this trade, we can provide you with all of the materials and tools needed to lay the driveway yourself. We can also give you advice on how to do this.
Q.Is a resin driveway slippery?
Resin bound driveways can be slippery when wet/icy as the surface is smoothed over with a trowel.
However, if you desire a non-slip driveway, we can use a resin bonded system which will make the surface harsher and therefore non-slip
