Clyde Corrosion

Clyde Corrosion appointed Thortech International to supply and apply an anti-slip and waterproof flooring system for a linkspan to be installed at the Port of Aberdeen. Our team completed the THORGRIP installation at the Clyde Corrosion premises in Glasgow, before the linkspan sections were transported to the port.

The new linkspan had the surfacing works carried out on 4 separate sections, before being combined to create one linkspan unit. The flooring system covered a total area of 100m² which filled the segments between the stainless-steel partitions which are designed to protect the linkspan. Not only do we offer this flooring system to new structures, but we can also install the THORGRIP product on existing linkspans which have already been assembled and used for operations.
