Stockingfield Bridge, Glasgow

Stockingfield Bridge was a £13.7 million project reconnecting 3 communities in north Glasgow, Ruchill, Gilshochill and Maryhill. The foot and cycle bridge is an important new link improving access between communities and also opens up routes to the employment and leisure opportunities in the West End and City Centre.

We were honoured to be appointed by Balfour Beatty (working for Scottish Canals) to install 620m2 of Thorgrip™ Natural HD for the length of the walkway and fitted nosing pieces to the steps of the bridge.

Scottish Canals approved of our resin product so much so, they went on to award additional works.
